OUR TOP TEN LEARNING GOALS:

1. SAFETY and SAVVY in all aspects of horse care/ handling.

2. COMMUNICATION SKILLS that will enable you/ your child to actually THINK LIKE A HORSE!

3. ENOUGH TIME IN THE SADDLE (or barebackJ) to advance your skills far beyond your present level (and much faster than weekly lessons!)

4. TOTAL BEGINNER up to ADVANCED groups that focus on your individual horsemanship goals.

5. EQUINE ANATOMY and BIOMECHANICS will be focused on and assignments will be given.

6. HEALTH CARE and MANAGEMENT will be focused on and assignments will be given.

7. FINE ART and DRAWING HORSES will be taught for beginning artists up to advanced.

8. MENTORING by older students at usually a one to one ratio.

9. EXPERT ADULT SUPERVISION AT ALL TIMES!

10. FUN GAMES and PRACTICE HORSE SHOWS will be executed to test the skills you’ve learned through the week/s!

(11.) EXTENSIVE TRAIL RIDING, JUMPING, AND DRESSAGE will be offered to advanced students.

 

 


Mobile Riding Academy Camps


Become the best horseman/ woman you can be! Come to Mobile Riding Academy for a learning experience you will never forget! Camps are a great way for kids and families to enjoy time together outdoors in a healthy environment.

Camps also make great gifts...

$300 for one week or one child.
$270 each for two weeks or two children.
$250 each for three weeks or three children.
$220 each for four weeks or four children.
$200 each week for five weeks.
$180 each week for six weeks.
A $50 deposit per week is required at sign-up.
Camp will be Mon.- Thurs. from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Ask about extended hours and special arrangements.
Camps can be arranged for homeschooled children.

What to bring...
> helmet (IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE WE WILL PROVIDE ONE)
> riding crop (optional)
> shoes and socks (hard-sole shoes or boots)
> long pants
> a snack and cold drink
> sketch pad and pencils/pens
