What do western riding lessons entail?

Beginning riders will start with basics, such as horse safety and learning to ride correctly with confidence. More advanced riders will do rail work and horsemanship and reining patterns to polish their equitation skills. Each lesson will be given with the rider's skill and progress in mind. 

Although lesson content will vary depending on skill level and whether or not it is a private or group lesson, our attention to the rider and to the well-being of the horse are number one priorities. 

How many people will be in my lesson? 

Private lessons are one-on-one with the instructor.  Semi-private lessons will have two or three riders. Groups constitute four and above.

We feel that reduced lesson size will exponentially increase your personal skill. You will also benefit from and enjoy watching and learning from your friends!
